Small hospital – BIG BIG plans
It’s a great responsibility to be a Small Wonder and a beacon of patient-focused healthcare in Montreal. And it’s a challenge to maintain our own high standards for compassionate care. The Foundation embraces the task, carefully choosing a priority focus on infrastructure projects that will make both the lives of patients longer and happier while helping us win important victories in our ongoing quest for great community healthcare and family medicine.
Within the past 10 years, the Foundation has given over $40 million in funding to the Hospital for equipment, construction and training needs. Through the generous financial support of the Montreal Community, the very patients and families who have come to rely on this institution are benefiting from our many successes including an enlarged Community Cancer Care Centre, a state-of-the-art Birthing Centre, a completely refurbished Family Medicine Centre, Ophthalmology Clinic, Women’s Clinic, Outpatient Psychiatry Unit and an expanded Epidemiology Research Department.
