The 3rd Annual Forum honouring “Heroes”
Women of Courage, Dedication and Spirit
In addition to the annual fundraising walk, Girls for the Cure (GFC) provides educational activities to the over 2,800 participants so they can gain the knowledge and learn the skills that will help them become tomorrow’s leaders.
On Thursday, April 22, 2010, the 3rd Annual Forum featured a panel discussion facilitated by renowned CTV newscaster Aphrodite Salas.
The panel featured women who are making a difference in their communities each and every day.
These six “Heroes” represented each of the participating GFC schools, (Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's, Queen of Angels Academy, Sacred Heart, The Study, Trafalgar and Villa Maria).
